Lacoux is a little village located on a cliff overhanging the valley of Albarine.

This outstanding site attracts many painters; some even moved to the village.

In 1971, the painter Fred Dreux created the Contemporary Art Center of Lacoux. Since then, the Center offers temporary annual art exhibitions.

We can also find in the basement a small museum highlighting the history of cheese making.
