There is no question that this Castle-Project is very ambitious! The goal of the inhabitants of Champdor is to preserve the beauty and the history of the castle in a modern facility. Because it requires a lot of courage for these knights of the modern time to undertake this challenge, they don't refuse any help or advice. In fact, they count on the energy of everyone. The aim of the project is to restore life to the castle and make it an attractive and casual space. Nevertheless, the drive for the restoration of the action is not the nostalgia of bygone days but rather the first thoughts are inscribed in the imminent 21st century. To harmonize the antique stones with Internet, here is the project! The envisaged way is the development of three spaces in the castle and its annexes: A professional space for businesses will offer an outstanding place for meetings or meals. It could be used directly by a firm or confined to caterers or restaurants, which are looking for a dinner room accommodating up to 200 people. The park would be at the renters' disposal, making the work space even more attractive. A cybernetic space will be a place where everyone could be exposed to the new techniques of communication and computer science. It would allow the students and the school children of the area or the businessmen to use Internet, the most powerful data bank ever offered to mankind. A cultural space will highlight the History of the Hauteville's Plateau and the activities, which contributed to the richness of this area. This space would offer exhibitions on wood, stone or farm products. Fairs focusing on various themes for future could also be held in this space.
